about mish…
In 2005 I moved from Boston to Edinburgh to pursue an MTh in Theological Ethics: Media from the University of Edinburgh and to marry a lovely Scottish guy named Paul Brown. A couple years later, we’re still living in Edinburgh and now I’m working in children’s and youth ministry. As we’re always overseas from one set of family and friends, Paul designed this website to share events, photos or just random musings with our loved ones around the world.
For anyone who doesn’t yet know us that well, here are couple random likes/dislikes:
I love photography, summer camp, traveling, reading, ice cream, working in children’s and youth ministry, my family, Cody the dog, CSI and my awesome husband Broon.
I’m not so fond of squirrels, ironing, brussels sprouts, commercial breaks on TV and shopping.
about broon…
Paul grew up in Mayfield near Edinburgh, met Michelle in 2003, moved to Boston for a bit in 2004, mish moved here in 2005 and we were married in 2006. The rest is history. The ‘us’ section on our wedding website will fill in the blanks (I have a terrible memory and mish is more eloquent than me).
Music has been my thing since school and although I’ve never truly mastered an instrument I like to try my hand at most. Currently I’m enjoying playing ukulele, guitars, ashbory bass and of course my beloved banjo. Maybe one day I’ll be able to make some money out of music but until them I’m working in a mortgage department in a bank.
I put up this blog to help share our news and chart our adventures together for our friends and families on both sides of the ocean.
broon dislikes:

…and of course my bessie mate, life partner and lovely wife mish.
